1.   Summary

This product bulletin announces the availability of a 0.5 meter cluster failover cable (CFO) for use in single cabinet active-active configurations for FAS or V-Series platforms.

 

2.   What’s New?

 

A new copper 0.5m CFO cable can be ordered via the Add Parts section of the May 2007 Quote Tool for use in connecting active/active FAS or V-Series systems when the standard 2m cable used in single cabinet active/active configurations is deemed too long and not easily manipulated in a single cabinet configuration. The 05.m CFO cable will be integrated as an optional selection into standard single cabinet configurations in the August 2007 Quote Tool release. The 2m cable will no longer be the default for single cabinet configurations.
